Zwavelpoort Meadows is a new mixed-use estate development offering work, play, living and leisure as an integrated community lifestyle. Charl de Villiers Architects, in collaboration with Oto Architects, has designed a variety of offices and homes for Keystone Developers. These designs take full advantage of the unique outdoors lifestyle afforded by the local sunny climate.
The CAPE WINE FARM HOME maximises a retired couple's quality of life by offering multiple stimulating spatial options for the handicapped whilst requiring minimal upkeep. The KAROO COTTAGE is a contemporary re-interpretation of a traditional South African farmhouse for a city-based client, honouring his childhood's rural roots. The HILL HOUSE RESIDENCE features a new addition which camouflages an older, dated, house which remains in use. A triple storey staircase, in red, is the main focal point.
Sacred Space refers to both secular and religious spaces. Secular includes corporate clients desiring "heart-to-heart" dialogue space as well as meditation and contemplation spaces. Religious includes all faiths' and wisdom traditions' places of gathering.
